3. Appointments, enquiries & reliance

• Online appointment requests, callbacks, and chat submissions are invitations until confirmed by authorised scheduling staff according to clinical priority and capacity.
• Estimated wait times, clinician availability, and package inclusions may change; we will communicate material changes where practicable.
• You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and clinical history so we can triage safely.

4. Patient portals & secure messaging

Where offered, portals and messaging tools are subject to additional authentication rules. You must safeguard credentials, log out on shared devices, and notify us of suspected unauthorised access—mirroring policies published by major integrated delivery networks. Messages may become part of your legal medical record and are not suitable for emergencies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorised access to systems, patient data, or staff accounts;
• Introduce malware, denial-of-service activity, or automated scraping that impairs service integrity;
• Upload unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, or deceptive material through forms or uploads;

We may suspend access, refer misconduct to authorities, or pursue remedies available under law.

6. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos, photography, illustrations, software, and editorial content are owned by the Hospital or licensors. You may view and print reasonable copies for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other reproduction, modification, distribution, or public display requires prior written permission except as allowed by applicable fair dealing or fair use provisions.

7. Third-party sites & integrations

Our website may link to insurers, payment gateways, map providers, or educational institutions. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or security practices—evaluate each provider independently.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Hospital and its affiliates, directors, clinicians, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, inability to use the site, or reliance on general content—even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from these Terms shall be limited to the minimum amount permitted by law or, where tied to direct fees paid for a specific digital service, that fee. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Hospital from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights—consistent with enforceable boilerplate used by large non-profit hospital systems, subject to local law constraints.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would refer to another jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise. Courts located in Malaysia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless a specific statute mandates a different venue for healthcare disputes.
